An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced part time Accounts Officer located in Moorabbin

We are a family owned business and are looking for an accounts extraordinaire to join our growing business.

If you have experience in MYOB, have worked in a standalone capacity previously, then this is the opportunity not to be missed. This is a temp to perm position reporting to the director, two days per week (ideally Wednesday and Thursdays)

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • end-to-end Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable,
  • bank reconciliations and
  • payroll (including relevant awards, super etc) and pay queries

You are also required to undertake the monthly/quarterly BAS reconciliation, pay PAYG/ payroll tax as well as the job budget analysis and reporting.

This position also includes month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation together with preparation of end of financial year documents for external accountant and send yearly payment summaries to all employees together with adhoc admin duties

The successful applicant must have superior written and verbal English communication skills to enable them to liaise with a number of our clients and candidates

You will be self-motivated, be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to problem solve.

MYOB (account rite) experience is essential and you must have intermediate to advanced MS office (Excel ) as there will be minimum training provided. Post-secondary qualification desirable.
