Due to recent growth, both locally and interstate, ARC Staff – The Australian Recruitment Company is currently recruiting for Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Business Development Manager  based at our Mentone office.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant/ BDM  you will not only manage relationships with our well-known client base but also develop new business under our brands .

Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:

  • Develop existing client relationships
  • Develop new business and drive sales with prospective clients
  • Understand solving client’s recruitment needs
  • Select and match candidates for appropriate positions, arrange interviews and fully brief candidates on the company and role
  • Take responsibility for candidate care and keep in regular contact with all candidates
  • Achieve targets and KPIs in a fast-moving sales environment
  • review sites for OHS compliance
  • management of CRM and candidate data base
  • Actively update and manage our socials

Key Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or soon to be degree qualified
  • Commercially minded with a natural sales ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Persistence, resilience, drive and determination to succeed
  • Activity Focused – cold calls, phone calls, emails etc
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build ongoing relationships with clients and candidates
  • You must have your own vehicle with a current valid driver’s licence.
